The company
Mamo was officially registered on June 1, 2019 in Dubai, UAE. Founders Asim Janjua and Imad Gharazeddine left their full-time jobs at Google to begin a journey to address everyday banking challenges within the Middle East. Work on Mamo began years before its inception, with the mission to expedite financial independence through a business and consumer platform. The founders raised initial venture capital in 2019 and continue to grow.
